  ‘Billboard’ (2014, C-type, part of an edition of 5 ) is one of two works selected for the group show ‘Far From The Madding Crowd’. The exhibition is about escapism and the role of the landscape in contemporary art. ‘Billboard’ is a photograph that I staged entirely in my London studio, based on a dusky West-Texan scene. The exhibition-auction is a new concept conceived by @theauctioncollective @narcissusarts1 @_tom_best . It’s a great opportunity to view and buy works by emerging artists with starting prices from £100-£5,000. This photo is of Shack II (2016 ) a site specific sculpture near Joshua Tree, another stop-off on my land art road trip in November. Her concrete casts reveal the negative space from 1950’s cabins she found abandoned in the desert.
