Looking back to some of the places that my assignments have taking me in 2018. I was so lucky to be on the South Island of New Zealand for the whole October, documenting the new amazing library in Christchurch by @shlarchitects and @architectus .nz and exploring parts of the island in the very good company of my fantastic assistant @stine_bundgaard . Taking as many backroads as possible led us to a variety of landscapes hard to imagine. From scenes so intense in colour and saturation that they seems unbelievable and manipulated to the almost monochrome counterpart - from mountains to sea, from lakes to glaciers - driving, hiking, biking, flying and not least - enjoying! . Looking back to some of the amazing places that my assignments have taking me in 2018. In early spring I was in Texas to document some of @5g_studio_collaborative fantastic projects. That gave me an opportunity to visit Marfa located far out in the dessert to experience two of my heros, Donald Judd and Dan Flavin, first hand. Even further out in the desert, you will find the most brilliant installation “Prada Marfa” by @elmgreenanddragsetstudio This “store” is a catalyst for people, from all over the world, to meet, talk, dance, posing, enjoying the setting, the light and each others’ company for hours - in the middle of nowhere - Loved it! .
