riiiiise and shiiine ☀️ take a moment to laugh at my sweatshirt and then read this. ➡️ i took these photos within 5 minutes of waking up today. i believe that a human being is at their most vulnerable and impressionable right when they wake up in the morning. you open your eyes and make a conscious choice: maybe you choose your attitude, or choose whether or not to snooze your alarm. morning usually brings a lot of back and forth for me... i like to wake up early, spend a few moments in prayer and then go to the gym. but even more-so than choosing to work out, i can choose to have a good day. today, i encourage you to take a deep breath and allow yourself to turn the page in your “book”. start new. inhale. exhale. smile. and then go. happy tuesday. 🤍

it’s okay if you don’t always feel like a star. 🌟 but when you’re feeling down, or your brain says you don’t shine, know that you do. did you know that anxiety is the most common form of mental health struggle and will affect nearly 30% of adults at some point in their lives? i am part of that 30%. sometimes i feel overwhelmed for no reason, and i lose my sense of space. my brain can feel disconnected from my surroundings and when i saw this step-by-step aid for escaping an anxiety attack, i decided to design my own version of it. 🙏🏼 save this post so you can come back and reference it if you (like me ) ever need a little help, and share it with those around you. you never know who you could help overcome a hard day. 🖤
