Wait for it ... Something to get your blood pumpin’ on a Monday 🤯 one of my fav hikes in Banff 🇨🇦🏔
Question for you: What are the things you wonder about and would like to figure out within the world of photo, video, social media, business, income, travelling, collaboration, editing, a7siii, etc? I always have a million questions in my head at all times and am curious what you guys are wondering? Leave a few questions in the comments. I bet a lot of ours are similar 👌🏼
All this snowfall recently has got me pumped on going out and shooting some more waterfalls. Such a rad combo 🙌🏼❄️ shot on: Sony FS5, 10-18mm f4, 4k 60p, prores 4:2:2 10 bit
A big happy birthday to this beauty! @ryanmagdanz you brought me a Tim’s coffee today for our meeting. Not much else can mean more to me than that and it makes you the best business partner ever. Thanks for being a great guy. A few years ago we made @tothmedia living in a basement suite together and now your married and bought your first home. So proud.
Girl & the wolf. Music vid is now live! Check it out on my story. @jacobcrawfordfilm crushed this 🔥❄️🐺
Anyone have new goals for 2020? One of mine is to figure out what to do with all my 16x9 footage and find a solution for shooting both wide and tall vids at the same time 😅 *top clip I stepped in a tree well so had to make a cut
It’s that time of year again ✨❄️ the time to enjoy the snow, and shoot sparkly warm light sources at blue hour. Not the time to build an igloo though, that was way too much work and too many confused border guards from the endless trips to the mountain 😅 shot on @sonyalpha a7iii and 35mm 1.4 art, iso 8000, f/125, 1.4 #alphacollective
Catching sunset behind a massive waterfall in Iceland ✨🔥
Volcanic black sand and blocks of ice, iceland is equally rad as it is cold. During my travels over the last few months I’ve put my clothing to the test. Always returning home with a whole lot of dirty laundry to unpack, clean, then repack for the next trip. Recently I’ve upgraded to @tidelaundry Pods Coldwater Clean. A 4-in-1 formula better designed to clean in cold water. I’ve been loving them not only because they’re small and easy to use but because using cold water saves 50% more energy than washing with warm water. #TidePodsSquad #ad
A quick hyper-lapse through one of the coolest canyons in Iceland 🚁
Autumn adventures before the snow falls and the lakes freeze ❄️🌅
Photos are nice, but I like mine with slow motion waves & timelapse skies ✨🌅. Check my story to see how it’s layered.
The land of fire and ice. A place where I’m typically freezing unless I’m in one of the many geothermic hot springs. What a contrast of landscapes here in Iceland. Probably one of my favourite places to spend 5$ on a super small coffee.. 🙈. But honestly if you wanna do it cheap, rent a car like I did for 21$ a day from Ace car rental (not and ad ) and stay at Midgard base camp for $35 a night. (also not an ad, just really good option in my opinion ). Two separate photos taken within 10 hours of each other on my last day in Iceland. ☝🏼 shot on @sonyalpha A7iii with 16-35mm 2.8 GM. #alphacollective #aicdoesiceland
Snow, fog & coffee 🏔✨

Made this stop-motion timelapse/ cinemagraph while sitting in Seattle airport waiting to go home to Canada. Original photo can be seen on the @sonyalpha page from our Iceland trip. I enjoy mixing any photos, videos, timelapses when I can. This whole scene was shot on the a7rIV making a 10k timelapse on the 200-600mm. 1/2000 shutter, iso 640, f/6.3. #alphacollective #aicdoesiceland
It’s currently 4am in Iceland. Woke up and figured this would be my only chance to edit some images from last night’s sunset before we continue exploring this beautiful country with @sonyalpha . This image was shot with the new Sony A7rIV, it’s 61MP of pure bliss. Lens used was my trusty 16-35mm 2.8 GM. Follow the link in my bio to find out more about this camera ✨🤙🏼 Shot at 16mm, ISO 640, 1/320, f/2.8 #alphacollective
A few nights ago we witnessed some of the most glorious light we’ve seen in these mountains. The sun went down and blue hour was strong when the sun decided to make a brief, last minute appearance. It’s only the second time we’ve used the new cedar canoe but we know good ol’ Tony would be proud of what it’s seen so far. (he’s the 70-ish year old furniture maker who made this canoe by hand ) After a few cloud-filled nights and a Westfalia breakdown on the way to Banff, it’s nice to have a night where everything works out perfectly. Persistency is so key in creative lifestyles.
🐺 A place where wolves and cabins meet. On our last day in with @tourismequebec we visited the wolf cabins at @parcomega , a place where you can sleep while a pack of wolves roam outside 6 feet away 🤘🏼 Definitely an experience to see and will be back for sure to see my wolf friends soon 🇨🇦 @outaouais #outaouaisfun #quebecoriginal
