Goddess Connection! First of all, what is a goddess connection? A goddess connection is an awareness and an understanding that goddess energy exists, and that there is much to be learned and gained by exploring it. For a majority of women & girls in today’s world, their exposure to the Divine Feminine is minimal. This creates a skewed sense of value. There is a giant missing piece in the bigger picture of how things are. When God is viewed as solely male, there is no possible understanding of how our feminine energy fits in to the picture. This leads to confusion, lack of self worth, disconnect from divine purpose and much more. These negative repercussions have become ingrained in our collective consciousness in the form of unhealthy beliefs, patterns & programming. By giving your daughter (and yourself ) a goddess connection, she then has the opportunity to cultivate a much deeper & healthier sense of who she really is and how she is valuable. 5 Reasons to Give Your Daughter a Goddess Connection: #1 – She needs to understand that the Goddess lives within her. #2 – She needs to understand feminine power & creativity #3 – She needs to understand many different forms of self-expression. #4 – She needs to understand feminine cycles, including the maiden-mother-crone cycle and the cycle of death & rebirth. #5 – She needs to understand she is part of the greater sisterhood of goddesses.
A great afternoon spent with the dream team of doulas and postpartum support.

Spring is the time of plans and projects!
Happy International Women's Day! Hopefully you are as lucky as I am to be surrounded by amazing, strong, supportive and encouraging women as I am. It's these women in my life who encourage me and inspire me to keep working on my passion project and to pursue my personal and career goals. It takes a tribe of women to support and encourage each other to live the lives we were meant to, with intention and integrity, and to appreciate the positive things that come our way, and to build each other up during challenging times, whatever they may be. I hope that today you take the time to reach out and to thank the women who are part of your tribe, and let them know how much they mean to you. I know I will be! xo
Never look down on others unless your helping them up. Be a reason someone smilies today!
You carry so much in your heart. Give some to yourself! Happy ❤️ Day!
Your connection with yourself matters the most. It is what sets the tone for your connection with every other in your life.
One in five Canadians will experience a mental health problem or illness every year. That’s about 7 million of us. But despite how common it is, mental illness continues to be met with widespread stigma: in hospitals, workplaces, and schools; in rural and urban communities; even among close friends and families. It occurs around the world, not confined within national boundaries or cultural groups. Reducing stigma requires a change in behaviours and attitudes toward acceptance, respect, and equitable treatment of people with mental health problems and mental illnesses. Reducing stigma and discrimination as key to improving not only individual quality of life, but mental health systems. This happens by understanding that mental illness is not anyone’s choice and recovery is possible with appropriate treatment and supports. The more stigma can be reduced, the better the outcomes for people and programs promoting mental wellness.
Rest In Peace Martin Luther King 🙏

Our brains are wired to be negative, but the good news is that you can train your brain to hold on to happiness in a few minutes a day. As we understand better how the brain works, it gives us more power to change our mind. Practice gratitude What is the one unique thing you are grateful for today? Practice writting everything you are grateful for every now and then. Don’t write the same things everyday. Selecting unique areas of gratitude each day forces you to re-frame your perspective to look for the positive, rather than the negative, aspects in your daily life. Gratitude has been linked to a host of physical and psychological benefits, including happiness. One study found that grateful people are 25 percent happier. So whether you make it a habit to talk about what you’re grateful for, or you write in a gratitude journal before bed, train your brain to look for the good in your life. It could be the simplest, most effective way to boost your well-being.

Saje Pocket Farmacy has become an indispensable part of my everyday routine. The remedies themselves are all-natural with potent, invigorating scents. Aside from the uplifting aromas though, the essential oils in each blend ease ailments by creating specific sensations when applied. Peppermint Halo is Saje's bestseller and for good reason. Although it's billed as a headache remedy, its blend of peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary, and lavender smells so delicious and invigorating you might be tempted to use it as a natural fragrance. Roll this on the scalp, along the hairline, on the back of the neck all the way down to your shoulders, and along your jawline to stop headaches and migraines in their tracks. What is your favorite product from @sajewellness ?
They gave their tomorrows so we can have our todays... lest we forget!

The Breast Cancer Awareness Month, marked in countries across the world every October, helps to increase attention and support for the awareness, early detection and treatment as well as palliative care of this disease. There are about 1.38 million new cases and 458 000 deaths from breast cancer each year (IARC Globocan, 2008 ). Breast cancer is by far the most common cancer in women worldwide, both in the developed and developing countries. In low- and middle-income countries the incidence has been rising up steadily in the last years due to increase in life expectancy, increase urbanization and adoption of western lifestyles. Currently there is not sufficient knowledge on the causes of breast cancer, therefore, early detection of the disease remains the cornerstone of breast cancer control. When breast cancer is detected early, and if adequate diagnosis and treatment are available, there is a good chance that breast cancer can be cured. If detected late, however, curative treatment is often no longer an option. In such cases, palliative care to relief the suffering of patients and their families is needed.
We gather on this day to be thankful for what we have, for the family we love, the friends we cherish, and for the blessings that will come. Happy Thanksgiving!

Blooming. It's something we all do throughout our lives. With each phase, stage and age our roots deepen, we blossom, we bloom - we grow as people in our various roles. But it is the blooming that we must be patient for, because the blooming is the part where we are our best selves. It is the point we reach when we find one of our many truths and feel that much more content with all we have been given in this life. As a doula I help families bloom, and as a childbirth educator I teach parents how to help their babies bloom in the safest, most perfect way possible. Further, I am an advocate for intuitive motherhood as a peaceful and satisfying birth and parenting method, as well as an advocate for the building of metaphorical "villages" around the birth of a child. I chose this profession because every mother deserves to have a birth doula AND a postpartum doula. Every mother deserves a kindred spirit; a personal village; the help of a sisterhood whose willingness to serve guides her every action. I chose this profession so that I can empower all women and encourage them to love their bodies, honor themselves and be fully present with their babies - for the strength of a mother is unmatchable, and coming to this realization is one of the best gift my daughter has given me.

June: Strawberry Moon- The New Moon is a time of beginnings. It is a time of embracing new projects, ideas, plans, thoughts, relationships and the changes we wish to invite into our lives. It is a time of seeding intentions and of opening to the new possibilities that are brought by another lunar cycle. The New Moon offers us a time of hope, a time of faith and renewal of our commitments. It brings us a fertile place to start fresh and to remind us that no matter what there is always rebirth waiting on the horizon. It reminds us also to check in with ourselves and to let go of what is no longer in alignment with our path, our purpose and our dreams. It tells us that in order for us to bring all that we want into being, we need to clear away what is no longer serving us and make room for what is to flow into our lives.
New Moon New You!
