The moment he realized metal gets hot when you work with it
I usually make miles do all the work.
This is one way to create a half lap joint. It looks clean, it’s easy to do, and it makes for more surface area for glue. These are legs for a bench I made my mother. #woodworking #halflap #dado #jordandunsworkshop
Building a little bench for my moms
When miles hears Jordan’s at the workshop, he comes out of his favorite napping spot to help Jordan. Thanks miles.

Here I am being inspired by ancient trinkets at the MET museum. Love to be inspired by different styles from around the world!
I’m flattered that you guys think I actually carved that by hand, but here’s what actually happened haha. #woodworking
Question...I’m getting more into skateboarding and am considering building skateboards for myself. Dumb thing is that if I were to build a board from scratch it would cost me about $60 per board, but buying a blank deck costs about $20. The money isn’t what I’m worried about, but is the idea of spending more to get make something yourself kind of dumb? Could just buy it for a third of the cost and save myself time haha.
After the charity event, about 4 business owners asked me to make them boxes. This is a box I made for a local business here in Columbus. Intentionally rustic. Also, thanks to all of you for the love and support. Really appreciate it, I didn’t expect you guys to be very into woodworking, but I’m glad to have your support!
Building a set piece for a friends video. More photos to come when the video has been released
Laser etched our family crest onto a glass. The last present made for a Christmas gift
A closer look at the cutting board. It’s our family crest. If you look closely there’s a bunch of tiny pieces glued together. The crest is made of a different wood. I had to carve out the shape into the walnut (dark wood ) and carve out the shape of the crest in the white wood. Then fit it together like a puzzle and glued it up.
Made this end grain cutting board for my brother and another for my parents. Took me about 60 hours to complete but I wanted it to be the first thing I show you. I think of woodworking as an act of love and art.
