CABLE KICKBACKS! Who else here is a big fan of these? On top of the compound lifts - the squats, the deadlifts, lunges etc - I love to add in accessory work to my workout routine to target my body and muscle groups differently! . With the right form, the cable kickback is great for creating shape at the top of your glutes - or the “shelf” booty. As I’m fairly quad dominant, this exercise really activates my glutes and hamstrings and isolates my quads. I looove to go heavy on this (but not too heavy, otherwise you’ll start straining your lower back )! A top tip of mine is to also make sure you’re wearing flat shoes (I love to take my shoes off ), so that you have a solid base and grip of the ground to execute this right. . I eat waaaay more at night lol. don’t know why. that’s just when my appetite really starts to kick in, and a lot of the time I crave junk food 😩 more so coooookies or something yummy.
