Women's March (@womensmarch)

July 2019

On this day in 1868, the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution was ratified, explicitly protecting the voting rights of only the "male inhabitants" of the United States. This was the first instance in which the Constitution clearly links citizenship and voting rights to gender. We have come a long way but we still have a long way to go. If you have the right to vote, use it! 🎨 by @ashlukadraws
