Dawn | Photograph by Gaurav Agrawal . “It is dawn at the Canyonlands National Park. Just a few moments from sunrise, the La Sal range burned with the rising sun. The orange-yellow hues were breathtaking, my wife next to me was yelling to put down the camera, and look at it for real,” writes #YourShotPhotographer Gaurav Agrawal. “A day before I was scouting for a spot to photograph the sunrise. I love this spot, which is the beginning of the Shafer’s Trail, giving a great perspective to the White Rim Trail with the La Sal Mountains.” — “The road that is lit like a rope on fire makes this photograph. I understand where the photographer’s wife is coming from. Sometimes the camera can be a barrier to living in the present and taking in the moment without seeing it through the confinement of the lens. On the other hand, I’m betting she is glad you caught the moment for a lifetime.” — @natgeo Senior Photo Editor Kurt Mutchler
