  I re-worked an @mjbale suit with recycled T-shirt material to celebrate new clothing initiative RECLAIMED by AIME. Heaps of incredible artists did AMAZING reworks of suits that are utterly delicious that you can bid for. This is the future of clothing! With 100 billions of $ of clothing going into the ground each year RECLAIMED is working with brands to donate dead stock so artists can rework it and give life and value to the recharged garment so it can raise funds for AIMEs mentoring work with marginalised kids in Australia and abroad.   I got dressed up for the first time in a long time. I must thank my old friend @marishten for painting my face. Thank you to my new friends at Sydney establishment @zooemporiumvintage for dressing me in this gorgeous vintage getup. I chose to wear only vintage for this event because I believe fast fashion is not safe for the planet or the people producing it. There is something utterly captivating about wearable history that embodies reuse and redemption over endless consumption. I’ll be aiming to wear only vintage or ethically/ecologically sound clothing from here on because I want to live my values.
