If you have ingredient questions, ask below! - * 2 scoops (62g ) @pescience Select Protein, Snickerdoodle * 1/4 C (30g ) All Purpose Flour * 1/4 C (48g ) @swervesweetie Brown Sugar (or light brown sugar ) * 1/2 tsp Baking Powder * 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon * 6 Tbsp (99g ) Creamy Peanut Butter * 1/4 C (60g ) Unsweetened Apple Sauce * 2 tsp Vanilla Extract - 1. Preheat oven to 350F. 2. Mix the dry ingredients, making sure to break any brown sugar lumps down, before adding the peanut butter, apple sauce, and vanilla extract. Stir until a dough begins to form. 3. Divide the dough into 8 pieces and press each between your palms to flatten. (Spray your hands with cooking spray to prevent sticking. ) Place the cookies on the baking sheet and sprinkle with a little ground cinnamon and granulated sugar substitute. 4. BE CONSISTENT. If you want to remember just one thing to help your fitness journey this year, save this. - There’s something that everyone who has achieved their fitness goals has in common...consistency. - The biggest mistake many people make: trying to jump head first into the perfect training program or the perfect diet on day 1. They put themselves on a plan that is not sustainable long term. The result of this is a perfect regimen that lasts for 2 weeks, followed by a 4 week (or permanent ) burnout period. Sound familiar? - Those who have achieved their fitness goals might be doing the perfect plan and perfect diet today, but that’s not how they got where they are. The foundation to every great fitness success is consistency. Without that, nothing else matters. - Pick a training plan that is something you can do consistently. Something that you look forward to. Pick a diet that is something you can stick to consistently. Not something you wake up dreading every day. It doesn’t have to be the best, it doesn’t have to be perfect. The only thing you should focus on is establishing consistency first. - It’s exhausting reading so much advice about how “studies say that a habit is formed between 9 and 49 days!” So all you have to do is be miserable for 2 months and then suddenly it will just be normal? Let’s be real, that’s never happened. - If you’re unsatisfied with your 2019 fitness achievements, take an honest look back at the year. How many times did you get bored or burn out? How much more would you have achieved if you had just done something consistently, even if it wasn’t the perfect diet and training combination? You have 365 opportunities every year to take a step in the right direction. Focus on taking one step at a time, no matter the size, as long as it’s in the right direction. Don’t try to take a giant leap every day. You will amaze yourself with how far consistent incremental achievements get you over the course of a year. - Stop trying to be perfect on every level, and just be consistent. Your future self will thank you.

🍫Chocolate Peppermint Protein Powder Cookies🍪 Bring these to your next holiday party! •INGREDIENTS• -1/2 C (96g ) Granulated Sugar Substitute ( @mason_woodruff used Swerve ) -1/2 C (112g ) Light Butter -1 tsp Vanilla Bean Paste (or vanilla extract ) -2 scoops (65g ) Select Protein Powder (Chocolate Mint Cookie ) -6 Tbsp (45g ) All Purpose Flour -2 Tbsp (10g ) Black or Dark Cocoa Powder -1/2 tsp Baking Powder —White Chocolate Peppermint Topping::: -1/2 C (112g ) White Chocolate Chips -2-3 Tbsp Crushed Candy Canes •INSTRUCTIONS• 1 ) Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2 ) Cream the butter and sugar substitute together. (You can use a food processor, stand mixer, whisk, or rubber spatula. ) 3 ) Mix the protein powder, cocoa, baking powder, and flour together in a small bowl before adding to the butter and sugar. Mix until you have a crumbly dough that can be formed by hand. Avoid over mixing. (~7 pulses in the food processor. ) 4 ) Divide the dough into 12 29-gram balls and press between your palms to form cookies. 5 ) Bake for 6-8 minutes or until the centers are still soft but not gooey.
