This morning, pictures spread across the internet like wild fire of a recently found Marlboro Syclone. Like many posts of this nature, it quickly started a debate if it was a real Marlboro amongst a storm of wildly incorrect and bad information on the Marlboro Syclones in general. Our goal at ISTR is to provide factual information on the GMC Syclone, Typhoon, and Sonoma GT. While we do not have all of the detailed information on this truck (we are currently working on it ), to help ensure the CORRECT information is posted, the following is confirmed: - Yes, this is a real Marlboro Syclone, not a clone. - Yes, it is located in Estonia. - No, this is NOT the Marlboro that was located in Hungary...that Marlboro is currently in Russia. - No, it’s not for sale. - No, this isn’t Marlboro #11 . Only 10 were made. This is one of the original 10. In our efforts to stay with only posting factual information, we are only posting limited info until we can confirm more details. If anyone has details that can help identify the history and background story of this truck, please contact us.
