“I’m a big Zack Snyder fan. Obviously, I think I could play the role. I would do it in a heartbeat, but I don’t hold my breath because I know there’s the stigma, ‘He was the TV Smallville Lex Luthor.’ I say that sarcastically, but I think it’s a shame. If people like the role and what I did with it, then they should consider it. But I’m not the director. I’m not the producer.” This was a quote from Michael Rosenbaum about BvS, and how he was quite interested in returning to the role again. Honestly, I think Lex in BvS all comes down to the execution. I loved his dialogue, I loved his motives, and I loved his psychology, but the demeanor with Eisenberg is what ruins it for me. With Michael in the role, I think there would have been severely less backlash than there was. What are your thoughts on this?
