What an absolutely gorgeous morning for a walk around the park. It never gets old. Birds chirping. Sun shining. Warm breeze blowing. Ocean waves crashing. As some would say " My heart is full". I'm not that mushy, but something along those lines. It really is nice to go outside and just get some fresh air and to see nature at work. If anyone is curious about the Christie's logo on my hat (since I have been asked about it before ), here's a little background info. I'm a Realtor with Hawaii Life Real Estate. We have offices here on Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island. We sell roughly $1.8 billion in real estate per year, and we're the top luxury brokerage in Hawaii in the $3 million-plus rankings. (At least the last time I checked ). I'm also officially a Christie's International Real Estate affiliate. With the affiliation, and through networking with Christie's agents, I have marketing access to many of the most affluent people in the world. Christie's has been around since the late 1700s, and now has a global presence in 46 countries and has 10 salerooms around the world including New York, London, Hong Kong, Milan, Paris, Dubai, Geneva, Amsterdam, Zurich, and Shanghai. While Christle's is best known for its auctions and private sales of the finest art, antiques, jewelry, watches, and wine, Chrisite's also has a large global real estate presence. Chrisite's clients, in addition to fine art and auction news, also receive real estate information digitally, at airport lounges, through magazines, and through physical displays at the auction houses. Hawaii Life was the only brokerage selected in Hawaii to represent Christie's, and only affiliate agents have the ability to advertise their listings to the Christie's auction house clients. While I can't pick up the phone and call Mr and Mrs so and so in New York who have also purchased a Picasso at one of the auctions, my affiliation allows my listings to be available to them by way of Christie's advertising. We have to think globally now when it comes to advertising. Buyers and sellers from around the world are discretely and remotely trading real estate every day.
