Alignment... what an important concept. I know it’s still a ways away but I think my New Years resolution will be to really be conscious about focusing on what makes me happy; fingers crossed I think everything else in life will align itself and fall in place 🤞🏼🙏🏼😃 hope everyone is having a great week!
How I miss sand dunes!!! This one featuring @thewayfaress is from my trip to Morocco around this time last year. Her and I miiiiight be going on another trip soon to a country full of famous sand dunes... can anyone guess where? Bonus points if you get it right ✈️
Beaches on beaches! 🏖 here’s another view from the Flores island, part of the few islands that are home to the Komodo Dragons. If you turned this image just to the right to the neighboring island you’d be able to see the famous ‘pink beach’
Still has to be one of my favorite photographs I’ve ever taken. Considered one of the most sacred places on the entire island; the temple has been made popular on @instagram because of its epic view of Mount Agung the still very active volcano in the background 🌋
Here’s one from an engagement shoot I did in Bali. You’ve seen this place a million times I’m sure but for me it never gets old!! If you’re looking to get engaged/married and need a photographer I’m your guy 🙋🏻♂️ send me a DM and we can talk deets🤳🏼👌🏼
Edge of the world 🌎
Shade in the Sahara desert is a rare commodity... The desert is the largest hot desert in the world roughly the size of the U.S. (including Hawaii and Alaska ); and it is hot, the highest temperature was recorded at 136f (58c ) 🔥 . This was our tour guide Amed taking in some shade on a quick break while we were on our way to visit a real nomad camp. . Swipe right 👉🏼 to see their camp and the happiest girl I think I’ve ever met 😂
I now see where this place gets its name 😇
Bali, Indonesia, quite possibly the trendiest travel destination in the world right now. So does it live up to the hype?? For me absolutely, I wouldn’t have lived there for nearly two years of my life if I didn’t think so! Obviously it’s visually stunning. It has lakes, mountains, volcanos, jungles, beaches, rice terraces, and monkeys 🐒 but besides all of that it has an incredible culture and some of the most genuine people I’ve ever encountered in my life and I feel privileged to have experienced my time there. #indonesialove
Really missing chilly mountain lakes and scenes like this; I live in Phoenix, Arizona and the temperature this upcoming week is supposed to reach 115f (46c ) 🥵 🔥
Channeling my inner @aladdin 🐫 🧞♂️
I think for me it’s moments like this that got me into photography. Obviously you see this completed, edited photo but what you don’t see is the time it takes to first research a location, plan a shot, actually get to it and then hope for good conditions. It’s all that work and anticipation that I have learned to really appreciate and seek out. • Well the conditions were just right on this day and I’m super stoked how this came out. This is one of my favorite images I’ve ever taken 📸 Hope you like it too ✌🏼
Usually I can find a place no problem with even the most basic of research on Instagram, Pinterest, or Google maps. But for some reason this place eluded me and when we typed it into Apple maps it sent us the wrong way up a random mountain that was so skinny I had to reverse the car backwards for a quarter of a mile and it started raining... 🙃 • Well we missed sunrise that day but I was determined to see this view. Luckily my friend @giuligartner gave me the pro-tips and we got to see this spot with amazing conditions. It ended up being one of my favorite mornings of the entire trip 🙌🏼
Morocco 🇲🇦 is one of those countries you could visit over and over again and get a unique experience each time. It has so much to offer: vast deserts and sand dunes, snow capped mountains, pristine beaches, truly unique culture, and world class cuisine. I CAN’T WAIT to get back next year 🙌🏼
The land of dragons 🐉 ... Komodo Dragons that is. This is Padar island, one of the many near Komodo island and I’m told is home to a couple dozen of the giant lizards 🦎(I’d stay clear of the Northern beaches is all in sayin’ )
We post the highlights... I’m guilty of it, you’re guilty of it, we’re all guilty of it. We want to show everybody that we’re always having a good time yet we all know that’s not the truth. The truth is that in life there are lows, there are fights, there are setbacks, there is mundane. • BUUUUT fortunately we have a choice; when we look back at life we can choose to focus on the LOWS or we can choose to focus on the HIGHS, the smiles, the laughs, the places that make you say “whoaaaaa”. That’s why I included some unedited, raw, HIGHS from my recent trip to Europe 🙌🏼 #focusonthehighs
Next time I go to the Dolomites I want to do a lot more hiking/trekking, didn’t get to do as much as we would have hoped 🥾buuuut I’ll definitely be back. Anyone have a favorite hike of theirs? Mine still has to be the Stairway to Heaven in Hawaii 🙌🏼
Never been to a place where everywhere you look could be a screensaver 👀 also who wants to move into the that house with me 🙋🏻♂️ I’ll cover utilities 😂
So before visiting the Dolomites I had seen this place one or two times and right away KNEW I had to find it. After the relatively short hike to get here I came around the bend to have it open up to this view and the only way to describe my excitement is comparing it to that first time you went to Disneyland as a kid 😱😱😱 anyway this is now one of my fav places in the world 🏔🙌🏼
So the only just two years ago I had never even heard of the Dolomites but thanks to @instagram I saw some of the most amazing photos I’ve ever seen come out of the area. It’s one of those rare places where it’s actually way more beautiful in real life and doesn’t look real 🏔 I’m sooo excited to share photos from the Dolomites 🤘🏼
So another thing that’s crazy about Iceland is in the summer months it literally doesn’t get dark. This photo was taken around 2am 🌞🤯
Landmannalaugar... a remote area of Iceland that is only accessible via huge 4x4 trucks, reminds me of what I imagine the surface of Mars looking like. It is otherworldly to say the least. I teamed up with @southcoast_adventure and toured this amazing landscape, it was definitely the highlight of my Iceland trip!
Iceland is land of contrast; in the same day it would be almost 70 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny then later we drove 3 hours east and it was foggy, rainy, and windy. The same goes for photos; there is always contrast, like this shot: white dress, black beach = fun photoshoot.
